Michelle M. Mortimer

Michelle Mortimer joined the firm in 2021 after graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law. She graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming College of Law with her Juris Doctorate, as well as a master’s degree in Environment and Natural Resources. She finished both degrees in three years. Her master’s thesis was on the possibility of an expanded water market in the Snake River Basin. She was an officer in the Natural Resource Law Club at the University of Wyoming for two years. During law school, Michelle worked for Rocky Mountain Environmental doing water right transfers and other water right related projects.

 

Michelle grew up in Rigby, Idaho on a family dairy farm. She loves being in the outdoors and enjoys hiking, rappelling, and ziplining. She still enjoys milking cows on her family’s dairy, and you can find her making cheese whenever possible.
