Deven earned his Juris Doctrate from the University of Idaho College of Law where he focused his studies on business, tax, estate planning, and real estate law. While in law school, Deven worked with the Idaho Attorney General’s office on assignment with the Idaho State Tax Commission and participated in the University of Idaho’s Low Income Tax Clinic. After law school, Deven clerked for the Honorable Alan C. Stephens, a District Court Judge in Idaho’s 7th Judicial District, and then took a position with our firm in 2017.
For over ten years, Deven has volunteered with Rexburg’s own Special Olympics team, the Upper Valley Bobcats, both as a coach and as the team’s financial coordinator. He is passionate about the welfare of our youth as well as our service men and women, so he also volunteers his time at his children’s school, local youth sporting events, the Boy Scouts of America, and veterans associations.
Deven is a native of Eastern Idaho and is proud to have grown up on a farm. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends as much time as he can hiking and fishing with his wife and four children.
Deven also speaks and writes fluent Spanish.
